UO to Hold Public Forum on Potential Guaranteed Tuition Model

University of Oregon

As the University of Oregon considers changing their tuition plan, the UO Tuition and Fee Advisory Board will host a public forum this week to hear student and community input.

By the end of this school year, the UO could implement a fixed tuition model that would guarantee the same tuition cost for incoming undergraduate classes over a five year period. If adopted, the model would help students know the full expected cost of their education before attending the U of O.

A conceptual presentation of the guaranteed tuition plan will be presented at the meeting. The forum will be held Tuesday, January 14, in the EMU 214 Redwood Auditorium from 6 to 7:30. Dinner will be provided.
