Bend-Based Company Voluntarily Recalls Products

Jem Raw

A Bend company is issuing a nationwide voluntary recall of its nut butter spreads because they could be contaminated with salmonella.

There have been 11 illnesses connected to those who ate Jem Raw chocolate nut spreads, but no one has been hospitalized.

The recalled products were distributed in retail stores and through mail order between June and November.
