Starting tomorrow evening, the Oregon State Park system will be closed statewide. Campers need to check out no later than 1 p.m. Day-use areas will close at 5 p.m.
The closure comes after the parks department said travelers have not followed advice to avoid crowded parks to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Campers will be refunded for all canceled nights. City, county parks, and other public land managers are open at their discretion, but recommend people practice social distancing
Beaches will be closed by the parks department if social distancing practices are not followed.
