One year ago, on May 29, 2020, what started as a vigil to observe and mourn the killing of George Floyd turned into a violent destructive demonstration in downtown Eugene.

Riot repercussions: Eugene's lawless first act in a year of protest still under scrutiny

Eugene police have spend more than 1,300 hours in the ongoing investigation and search for suspects related to the May 29, 2020 protest-turned-riot.
