An Oregonian revolutionized the sport of high jumping.  Now the “Fosbury Flop” is the only technique used in the sport.

Register-Guard former associate editor Bob Welch has written a book on Dick Fosbury, “The Wizard of Foz: Dick Fosbury’s One-Man High Jump Revolution.”

KLCC’s Barbara Dellenback asked Welch how he chose Fosbury as his subject.
