Ducks Score Big in Home Opener; Beavers Suffer Narrow Loss in Hawaii

University of Oregon scored 11 touchdowns by 11 different players in their 77-6 blowout victory over Nevada Saturday night in Eugene. Oregon scored eight touchdowns on eight consecutive drives in front of a crowd of almost 51,000 at Autzen Stadium.

The No.16 Ducks are now 1-1 for the season. They host Montana (2-0) next Saturday night at Autzen. Game time is 7:45 pm.

Oregon State traveled to Hawaii for their second game of the season on Saturday. The Beavers started strong and held the lead until the final minutes of the game when a Hawaii field goal allowed the Rainbow Warriors to take the lead for the win with a final score of 28-31.

The Beavers (0-2) will host Cal Poly (1-1) for an afternoon game in Corvallis next Saturday at 1:45 pm.
