Astrophysicist and author Janna Levin will give this year’s Cressman Lecture for the Oregon Humanities Center, entitled “From the Big Bang to Black Holes: Time, the Universe and Everything,” on the UO campus on February 19th. She speaks with Eric Alan about whether the universe is solid or infinite, whether cosmic insignificance is comforting, and how that affects us as humans on Earth.
