Astrophysicist and author Janna Levin will give this year’s Cressman Lecture for the Oregon Humanities Center, entitled “From the Big Bang to Black Holes: Time, the Universe and Everything,” on the UO campus on February 19^th. She speaks with Eric Alan about whether the universe is solid or infinite, whether cosmic insignificance is comforting, and how that affects us as humans on Earth.
