The Space Between Us: Immigrants, Refugees and Oregon, is the next topic in the Oregon Humanities Conversation Project. The conversation is being led in locations across the state by Manuel Padilla, who has done peace work in Haiti, Chad and Washington D.C., working with internally displaced people, immigrants, and refugees. Locally, the conversation will be held on Wednesday, May 24th at 5:30 p.m. at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art. Manuel Padilla speaks with KLCC's Eric Alan about vulnerability, empathy and creating refuge.
