Want a little music to cheer you up during this pandemic holiday season? The Oregon Mozart Playersperform a seasonal concert-- virtually-- of course, starting this weekend [Dec. 19].

Nöel will feature Correli, Gruber, and Mozart, with a little Jingle Bells mixed in.
Daren Fuster, Executive Director of the Oregon Mozart Players, said the musicians will perform the hour-long concert live. And it will be filmed for online viewing.
“We’re actually recording this in a church,” Fuster said. “So it is not as large as say, recording in the Hult Center, for instance. So, we’re cognizant of all the variables and making sure that we keep our musicians safe.”
The orchestra will be pared down to strings and piano, Fuster said. It’s been a tough year. While smaller chamber performances were possible outdoors this summer, the entire orchestra hasn’t been together since February.
