The former Starbucks in Downtown Eugene has a new tenant. Manifest Beer Company shares how they plan to transform the space.

Co-owner Brandon Woodruff is a fifth-generation Oregonian. He remembers the days when parents used to bring kids downtown just to walk around. Woodruff wants to bring that atmosphere back and encourage families into the space again.

“My family and I, we’ve been here for a really long time and one thing that was really tough for me is like when the Eugene Celebration kinda went away. So, we kinda feel like as a brewery downtown, we could open up some more opportunities for festival kind of things to happen. And get part of that synergy going of like, ‘hey we should be celebrating downtown, rather than running away from downtown.’”

Woodruff plans to make the brewery feel like home. This includes using Crock pots and a stove top to make comfort food like biscuits and gravy.

The new location will be open in mid- to late-November.
