LCC Biology Teacher Wins National Award

Lane Community College Biology Instructor Stacey Kiser has been named best biology teacher of the year by the National Association of Biology Teachers. She's been teaching at Lane for 20 years. Kiser spoke with KLCC's Rachael McDonald asked her how she gets students interested in Biology.

Rachael McDonald
Rachael McDonald is KLCC’s host for All Things Considered on weekday afternoons. She also is the editor of the KLCC Extra, the daily digital newspaper. Rachael has a BA in English from the University of Oregon. She started out in public radio as a newsroom volunteer at KLCC in 2000.
