Warming Centers Open Tonight During Sub-Freezing Temps

With temperatures expected to drop into the 20s, the Egan Warming Centers will activate tonight (12/6) in Eugene and Springfield. They’re on standby for Wednesday night.

First Christian Church, 11th & Oak, Eugene (main downtown site this year, PETS ALLOWED)
Resurrection Episcopal Church 39th & Hilyard, Eugene (NO PETS)
Valley Covenant Church, 18th & Bailey Hill, Eugene (NO PETS)
St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church 4110 River Road, Santa Clara area (PETS ALLOWED)
Springfield Adventist 12th & Olympic, Springfield, (PETS ALLOWED)
Lane Community College (Main Campus 4000 E. 30th, Eugene, Building 4 Room 104 (NO PETS)
Youth Site will be at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church 13th & Pearl, opening at 9pm

Cottage Grove Beds for Freezing Nights will open tonight [Tuesday] during the subfreezing weather. They will have shelter available at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Wednesday.
In Lebanon, people can seek shelter at the First Christian Church tonight.
Warming centers are on standby for Wednesday night.
