DeFazio Will Face Robinson Again In November Election

Congressman Peter DeFazio says he takes seriously the challenge from Republican Art Robinson in the November election.

For the 5th time Robinson will run for Oregon’s 4th District seat after winning the primary election Tuesday. DeFazio says Robinson has the backing of billionaire Wall Street investor Robert Mercer and his daughter Rebecca.

“They’ve put millions of dollars into Robinson. Spent quite a bit of money against me.” DeFazio says, “They’ve financed his institute where he has proven that climate change is a myth and that radiation is good for us and where he’s collecting urine samples. They’re true believers. In fact, they tried to make Trump appoint him as science advisor.”

Art Robinson lives in Cave Junction. DeFazio, who lives in Springfield, has held the 4th District seat since 1987.
