Today (Tuesday), USA Track and Field announced the dates of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for the Tokyo Olympics, which were postponed due to COVID-19. Eugene’s new Hayward Field will host the country’s top athletes June 18th through the 27th, 2021.
If ticket-holders don’t want to use their purchased seats for next year, starting tomorrow (Wednesday) they’ll have 90 days to request a refund. Refunding begins at 9 am online at TrackTown 20 dot com. Otherwise, tickets will automatically roll over to the new dates.
Because Tokyo opted to retain the name Tokyo 2020, the trials will be known as the 2020 Olympic Team Trials.
