The 2028 U.S. Olympic team track and field trials will return to Hayward Field at the University of Oregon.

Incoming UO freshman Simon Rosselli set a U.S. U20 record with a 66.39-meter throw at Hayward Field to win gold in the men's discus.

The day's most anticipated race was the 100, which featured the top three finishers from the Paris Olympics.
