Answering the Call for More Local Journalism

KLCC is not just public radio anymore! KLCC's Amplifying Oregon Voices project ensures Oregonians will have access to local, trusted news for decades to come. This special campaign is raising resources for journalists to report on local news and to convene community conversations about issues right here at home.

Get Involved
1) Join us for a special fundraising event Tuesday, June 4 to benefit the Amplifying Oregon Voices campaign to be held at the Wildish Theater in Springfield. The evening's program will feature Ailsa Chang, NPR's All Things Considered host. For details, tickets, information, and to register email Ronnel Curry at rcurry@klcc.org or call 541-463-6005. Invitations will be sent in mid-April.

2) Read the information below to learn how KLCC is expanding our journalism force and keeping communities strong.

2) Make a transformational gift today!
In December 2023 with the help of members like you, $2,500,000 has been quietly raised in philanthropic support. If you make a gift to the campaign now, it will be matched $ for $ until we reach the $3,000,000 project goal. The match has been generously provided by a group of KLCC members and the Tykeson Family Foundation.

Your donation to Amplifying Oregon Voices provides:

  • Extra resources for more journalists,
  • More content on digital platforms,
  • Additional coverage of local government agencies, and
  • Continuing conversations about local issues that go beyond the headlines.

Use the link above or send your gift to KLCC Public Radio Foundation Capital Campaign, 136 W. 8th Ave., Eugene, OR 97401.
