To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, some of his original first folios are on tour in the United States. The University of Oregon’s Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art is the only place in the state hosting this traveling exhibit. KLCC’s Rachael McDonald went to take a look. She spoke with U of O Associate Professor of English Lara Bovilsky who was instrumental in getting the First Folio to Eugene.

Lara Bovilsky is Associate Professor of English at the University of Oregon. As part of the JSMA exhibit, Shakespeare’s contemporary Ben Jonson’s First Folio is also on display. There’s a companion exhibit at the UO Knight Library.
