On this week's Friday show, Lane County Public Health's COVID response Incident Commander Steve Adams and Lane County Senior Public Health Officer Dr. Patrick Luedtke speak with KLCC's Rachael McDonald about the vaccine rollout.

With recent news that the state isn't recieving as much COVID-19 vaccine as promised from the federal government, plans to vaccine educators and seniors have been put on hold. The state says it hopes to start vaccinating educators on Jan. 25. It will start with phase one of vaccinating seniors on Feb. 8th. Phase one includes those 80 and older. Phase two is people 75+. Phase three is those 70 and older and phase four is for all those 65 and older.

The Friday Show is produced and hosted by KLCC. Production assistance from Angela Kellner. Music by Asleep Verified.
