U.S. Representative Peter DeFazio of Oregon says after last week’s senate hearing, Judge Brett Kavanaugh should not be rejected as a Supreme Court Justice candidate, he should be disqualified from his seat on the Court of Appeals.

DeFazio, who is a Democrat, says he found Professor Christine Blasey Ford credible in her testimony. He was shocked by Kavanaugh’s statements before the Senate Committee.  “He basically said, what goes around comes around and I’m going to get you when I get on the Supreme Court. " DeFazio says, "That disqualifies him from a whole host of cases. That is unbelievable. I’ve never ever seen anything like that before in a candidate.”
The House of Representatives doesn’t have a say in the Supreme Court confirmation. But, DeFazio says if Democrats take back the house in the midterms they can investigate Trump’s business dealings and Russian interference with U.S. elections.
