Hands Across the Sand Lincoln City

Hands Across the Sand Lincoln City
On July 5th, friends and strangers will unite out of love for the marine ecosystem and against anti-environmental policies. The goal is an unbroken line of people from Cascade Head to Taft representing our dedication to protecting this place.
Hands Across the Sand Lincoln City will be fun, family-friendly, creative, and easy!
1. Arrive at any part of the beach at 11:30 a.m. on July 5th
2. WRITE IN THE SAND / MAKE SAND ART.
3. Help each other form a line.
4. Invite visitors to join in.
5. Sync with others along the beach & link hands at noon.
6. Send up drone & SMILE.
7. Stand for 15 minutes.
8. Say goodbye to new-found friends & pick up some trash.
Lincoln City has a seven-mile beach. For this to work, folks are needed along the beach to help. Questions? Interested? Email: hasor2025@gmail.com.
July 4th always results in trash on the beach, so SOLVE has two Cleanups on July 5th. We share their commitment to removing plastics and other garbage from the beach and, therefore, the ocean. SOLVE knows about Hands Across the Sand, and their volunteers are welcome to join in. To learn more about SOLVE, go here: volunteer.solveoregon.org
