Eugene Springfield Fire crews fought a house fire in the Cal Young neighborhood Wednesday afternoon. The fire in the 2000 block of Brewer Avenue was reported by a passing driver at 2:30 p.m..
The fire was under control after about 20 minutes. No people were found but crews were still looking for two cats.
The fire’s cause is under investigation.
