About the speaker

Formerly the editor of Vanity Fair and the New Yorker, Tina Brown is now CEO of Tina Brown Live Media. She was also the visionary force behind Women in the World, a global platform dedicated to building a better life for women and girls. In this role, she brought together the world’s most remarkable and powerful women for annual summits at New York’s Lincoln Center as well as in London, Toronto, New Delhi, and Dubai. By convening inspirational activists, political change-makers and extraordinary leaders, Women in the World drew luminaries such as Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Stacey Abrams, Anna Wintour, and Christine Lagarde and became a platform for advocacy, awareness, and connection. Brown also hosted the podcast TBD with Tina Brown, where she talked with entertaining candor to writers, actors, politicians, journalists, activists, thought leaders, and news makers of tomorrow's social debates. Brown's storytelling, the early years of her celebrated career, and the roaring ‘80s are showcased in her latest book, The Vanity Fair Diaries: 1983–1992.
