It's that time of the year again when we gear up for the 27th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser. We are currently collecting handmade ceramic bowls, unique artwork, and other special items for our silent auction. Our family-friendly event is aimed at raising funds for Florence Food Share, our local food pantry that serves those in need.

Local students of all ages, as well as amateur and professional potters, woodturners, and glass artists have already donated over 900 items to this cause. We are excited to add contributions from textile artists, photographers, and other media to the mix of artwork offered to the public. Empty Bowls is a community event with sponsors, artists, and many volunteers working together to make it successful.

Most handmade ceramic bowls will be sold for $15 each, with some available at a lower or higher price. The event also features a silent auction with artwork by many of your favorite local artists, including paintings, photography, fused glass, and more.

The fundraiser will take place at the Florence Events Center on Friday, December 1st (4 PM - 6 PM), Saturday, December 2nd (10 AM - 6 PM), and Sunday, December 3rd (12 PM - 4 PM).

Admission is free, and you can shop for handmade one-of-a-kind gifts while supporting a good cause. Join us in making a difference!
