Action Moviemaking: Unarmed workshop with Kevin Inouye
Come learn the essentials that go into creating safe, dynamic fights on screen! Whether you're a director, performer, videographer, or otherwise involved (or even just want to see how it's done), you'll get a crash course in how the action is made. It's as hands-on as you want it to be, whether that means getting on camera, running a camera, or just hanging out in the back taking notes. Registration highly encouraged so we can keep it to a safe, manageable size, and cater our content to the folks who will be in the room. Intended for adults, but teens are welcome to send an email and request an exemption.
This is a co-production of Fight Designer, LLC and Lane County Film Studios, utilizing the studio space of CTV29 (located behind Sheldon High School, in the back of their lot).
Instructor Kevin Inouye is a local fight choreographer/coordinator, armorer, and instructor. He's a SAG-AFTRA stuntman, award-winning fight choreographer, Certified Teacher in stage combat, theatrical firearms, and several acting styles, author of The Screen Combat Handbook and The Theatrical Firearms Handbook, and has taught related workshops around North America for over a decade.
