In Donna Marisa and Hannah Bontrager’s jazzy dance theater remake of Victor Herbert’s 1903 holiday operetta from the Chicago Grand Opera House, the stage glows with whimsical characters, festive dance theater, and the international artists and guest stars of Ballet Fantastique. Set to the swinging holiday beat of Duke Ellington’s epic jazz Nutcracker and other holiday jazz classics.
