In its 9th year of producing free Shakespeare plays, Coos Bay Shakespeare in the Park presents Julius Caesar on June 22, 23, 29, and 30.

Concerned that Julius Caesar poses a threat to democracy, revolutionaries make the violent decision to murder him. As the world spins out of control, chaos and superstition lead to civil war.

The play will be presented in the amphitheater at Mingus Park, 725 N. 10th Street. Coos Bay, OR, near the pool. The play begins at 3 p.m. There is no charge but donations will be gratefully accepted, and sponsorships are still available. Bring your own seating to enjoy the play and support these local volunteer thespians. Coos Bay Shakespeare in the Park is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
