Enjoy a free family-friendly morning of fishing and fun! Kids ages 2-10 can catch and keep fish, build and test custom boats, and explore water safety stations including free life jacket fittings. Free boat inspections also available on-site. Bring your own fishing gear and get ready to have some fun! A light breakfast of muffins, donuts, fruit, juice, and coffee to will be provided to get the day started.
Presented by River Road Park and Recreation District. Rainbow Trout donated and monitored by Oregon Fish and Wildlife. Free boat safety inspections provided by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Celebrate wildflowers and the Santa Clara community with the Friends of Awbrey Park! Take a guided or self-guided tour and discover the native flowers, shrubs and trees that inhabit the park. The Friends of Awbrey Park will be stationed throughout the park to help you find trillium, lupine, red columbine, bleeding heart, violets, fairy bells, false Solomon's seal, Oregon myrtle and much, much more.

Awbrey Park features two playground areas (one for 2-5 year olds and one for 6-12 year olds), a large playfield, a pollinator garden, Spring Creek and a small forest where you will find woodpeckers, mallards, newts and salamanders.

Come explore some amazing gardens featuring native plants and habitat for birds and pollinators! This self-guided tour features 10 Habitat Haven certified gold or platinum gardens. Learn how you can create your own wildlife oasis! Tickets are required. This is a fundraiser for Habitat Haven, a program of Coast to Cascades Bird Alliance.

Willamette Farm and Food Coalition is hosting Plants for the People, a spring plant sale and fundraiser! The event will be held at Long Table Farm on May 3rd, from 12–5 pm.

Plants for the People is centered around local food, community, and the start of the growing season.
The event will include:
• Locally grown plant starts from regional farms and nurseries
• A build-your-own spring salad bar made with fresh, seasonal ingredients
• A hands-on food and herb preservation workshop
• Live music and space to gather
• Local vendors offering honey, herbal goods, houseplants, and more

To help us care for the land and manage flow at the farm, we ask that you register ahead of time through our website. (Event address will be shared upon registration)

Along with knowledgeable people able to advise you on how to successfully grow them in your own garden. Come join us for a fun and information-filled event! Yaquina Bay Birder's and Naturalists invites all people in Lincoln County and beyond to join us for a lecture presentation on the natural world. The topic for January 20 is 'A Chickadee Never Forgets'- The amazing special memory of Mountain Chickadees. (AKA 'where did I hide that seed?') . Our presenter is OSU research professor Ben Sonnenberg.

Critical mass is a worldwide movement where people who ride bikes gather once a month to bike together in a festive and radically pro bike movement. We ride through the streets of Eugene for about 1 and 1/2 hours and then end the ride with a social hour/mega dance party.
