On Sunday, Oct. 13th the Community Center for the Performing Arts proudly welcomes Jeris Johnson to the WOW Hall.

Jeris Johnson has been making waves in the music scene with his unique blend of genres like pop, rock, metal, and hip-hop.

Raised in Temple, Texas, and a resident of Eugene, Ore., Jeris had a passion for music from a young age. He began creating music in his teenage years, dotting his early work with a mix of instrumental tracks. In 2017, Jeris released his debut album, “Overdrive,” which showcased his versatility and bold musical style.

Jeris’ fame accelerated after he got involved with releasing popular rock n’ roll covers on TikTok, such as Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and Weezer’s “Say It Ain’t So.” These covers stood out for their engaging, genre-bending interpretations that transitioned into rap lyrics midway through a song. His innovative style of music earned him a massive following on TikTok, with millions of fans tuning in to watch his creative performances.

In collaboration with producers JR Rotem and Johnny Goldstein, Johnson released some of his latest singles in 2021, including “WHEELS” and “Wildfire,” which quickly climbed the charts and fueled his loyal fanbase, known affectionately as the #K1LL3Rfamily.

While his music career continues to soar, Jeris Johnson’s drive to create is relentless. His vision to defy music genres and break boundaries remains his key focus.
