The Lincoln County League of Women Voters will host a Virtual Candidate Forum on April 28, 2026, from 6-8 pm. With the generous technical support of Oregon Coast Community College we will be originating the event from the North Campus of OCCC, and an additional viewing room will also be hosted at the Central Campus in Newport.

All three positions on the Board of Commissioners are on the May 19 th Primary ballot and the 12 candidates vying for those seats have been invited. The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization, which neither supports, nor opposes political parties or candidates for elective office.

Jean Cowan will moderate the forum and will ask three league-generated questions of each candidate. If time allows, a limited number of questions will be accepted from the viewing audience. League members will monitor both the viewing rooms and the chat feature to collect and consolidate written questions. You are invited to join us in one of the two viewing rooms, gather a group of friends for viewing and socializing, or watch from the comfort of your own home.
