Reptile Man Returns
March 25 | 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 1:30 p.m.
Meet Oregon’s well-known Reptile Man and learn about reptiles and other fascinating creatures up close. Tickets will be available beginning March 14. Limited tickets may be available at the door.
Family Movie Night: The Land Before Time
March 24 | 5:30 p.m.
Enjoy a free screening of the classic Don Bluth animated film. Families are welcome to bring a picnic or enjoy popcorn provided at the library.
Teen Events
Teen Museum Boot Camp
March 24–26 | 1:30–3:30 p.m.
Teens ages 12 and older can work behind the scenes at the Springfield History Museum and earn community service hours by helping rehouse artifacts. Pre-registration is encouraged: https://springfield-or.libcal.com/event/16437319
Spring Curia Debate Camp
March 27 | 1:00–4:00 p.m.
March 28 | 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Students in grades 6–12 are invited to participate in a two-day debate camp hosted by the Young Leaders Program. Pre-registration is encouraged. Lunch and free shirts are provided for preregistered teens. https://www.ylprogram.org/resources/spring-speech-debate-camp

View Springfield students’ artwork and participate in an “I Spy” activity for a chance to win prizes.
Thunderegg Rock Club Storytime and Tabling Event
March 28, 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
Attend a rock storytime, learn about Oregon’s state rock, and take home a polished Thunderegg.
Family Bilingual Storytimes
Tuesdays and Saturdays
Families can enjoy interactive reading, music, and movement in a bilingual storytime format.
All events are free and open to the public, though some programs may have limited space.
