Woman Kidnapped From Eugene Parking Lot

Eugene Police Department

A Springfield woman was briefly kidnapped from a Eugene parking lot Monday. 21-year-old Treasure Javan Marler-Liggins was later found, safe.

The Eugene Police Department put out an “All Points Bulletin” to Oregon police agencies and sought the public’s help locating the woman. The kidnapping took place around 12:45 P.M. in the parking lot of the Target on West 11th Avenue.

EPD Lieutenant Doug Mozan: "Three men were involved with those two vehicles, that we know of. Two men jumped out and broke the window - I think it's the drivers window - to Ms. Marler-Liggins vehicle. They forced her into the passenger seat, they got into her vehicle - two men got into her vehicle - and they drove away.”

EPD says it’s still investigating the circumstances surrounding the kidnapping, and encourage witnesses with relevant information to contact police.
