Containment levels continue to rise on wildfires burning in Oregon.
The Holiday Farm Fire east of Springfield is now estimated to be 65% contained and is holding at 173,094 acres.
Fire crews continue to tie containment lines together in tough-to-get-to areas while being supported in the air by four helicopters. There are 650 personnel working the on the Holiday Farm Fire.
Fire managers say this week’s higher temperatures and breezy winds stirred up fire activity in some unburned islands around Doe Creek. Wednesday's weather will continue to be hot and dry but winds are expected to be minimal.

The Archie Creek Fire in Douglas county is now at 73% containment. Fire managers say firefighters continue to protect homes and other buildings throughout the fire, including Little River Road and the Bar L subdivision. The Archie Creek fire has burned 131,542 acres.
The Thielsen Fire located five miles north of Crater Lake near Diamond Lake Resort has burned 9,974 acres and is 69% contained.
Officials say dry and warm weather with near record high temperatures will persist through Thursday and cause unburned pockets throughout both the Archie Creek and Thielsen fires to burn and produce smoke. Managers say crews are keeping an eye out for increased fire behavior from the ground and from the air, though no fire growth is expected.
The Level 1 "Be Ready" notice on Little River Road has been lifted and the area is no longer under a formal evacuation notice. Diamond Lake has been reduced to a Level 1 "Be Ready" notice. Highway 138E is open, but delays should be expected.
