The Bureau of Land Management is planning several prescribed burns this week in the southern Willamette Valley.
The agency says up to 100 acres will be burned on a timber sale site about 10 miles northwest of Eugene.
Separately, a prescribed burn is planned at the Alsea Falls Recreation Site in southern Benton County.
Other, smaller burns are planned near Coburg and Cottage Grove.
The BLM says all prescribed burns are weather-dependent.
