Over a 24-hour period this week, Corvallis Police say they arrested three people who were making violent threats.
On Tuesday, May 13, officers were called to Wal-Mart about a person who allegedly threatened staff with a fishing pole after being asked to leave. During the incident, one of the employees was struck in the face. The suspect fled and was not found until the next day. 27-year-old Keevion Rodrigues, of Eugene was arrested on several charges, including attempted assault and menacing.
On Wednesday, officers were called to Fred Meyer about a person threatening staff with a knife after being stopped on suspicion of shoplifting. 31-year-old Isiais Ramirez Rodriguez of Jefferson was arrested on charges of robbery and menacing.
Later that day, officers responded to a menacing call at the Dutch Bros on NW 9th Street. A man was threatening an employee with a knife. 42-year-old Alexander Wall of Vancouver, Washington was arrested for menacing and unlawful use of a weapon.
