Crews responded to a series of roadside fires along 30th Avenue near the Lane Community College campus in Eugene on Tuesday morning.
The fires were quickly brought under control.
It’s a reminder that even with the shorter days and cooler nights, it’s still officially fire season in Oregon.
The Eugene-area forecast shows highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s for much of the week.
The next chance of rain comes on Sunday.
