Fans of elephants and the Oregon Zoo can now sport a license plate to show their support.
A new Oregon Zoo license plate will be available at the Oregon DMV starting Nov. 3. It features a design by Oregon artist Jeremy Nichols showing an elephant and roses, to symbolize Portland, the Rose City.
The plates cost an additional $40. About $35 of that goes to the Oregon Zoo Foundation to support conservation.
