Two long-time leaders in the Lebanon Fire District are retiring.
Fire Marshal Ken Foster and Lieutenant Michael Maynard served for a combined total of more than 70 years.
Foster began as a volunteer in 1989, and led the effort to modernize and enhance Fire and Life Safety practices.
Maynard joined Sweet Home Fire at age 18, after a childhood spent in firehouses with his father. He said he feels honored to have served Lebanon for 33 years.
