Early Monday morning, Corvallis Police responded to a fatal traffic crash on SE 3rd Street near SE Chapman Place.
Police say a 55-year-old Corvallis resident was struck and killed by a northbound vehicle at around 3:30 a.m.
The roadway was closed for several hours while investigators processed the scene.
