On Sunday a Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew rescued a hiker from a cliff on God's Thumb in Lincoln City.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Columbia River were contacted by Lincoln County dispatch who asked for assistance to rescue the hiker after she had multiple injuries from the fall.
The Coast Guard crew were able to safely hoist her and transported her to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital for medical treatment.
