On Saturday, the Lebanon Fire District responded to a reported structure fire on River Drive. Upon arrival, crews determined the incident was actually a brush fire burning behind the water treatment plant near the railroad tracks. The area is known to be frequented by members of the unhoused community, and firefighters discovered a small campsite within the burn area. No injuries were reported.
