After a routine inspection, two rural Benton County bridges have been closed due to what the county called “critical deficiencies.”
These bridges are a pony steel truss bridge at Mile Post 5.3 on McFarland Road over Muddy Creek, and a timber bridge at Mile Post 2.4 on Williams Road over Hammer Creek.
The bridges are closed now, and the county said closures are expected to last for at least a month until repairs can be completed.
