State authorities want the public’s help in identifying a dead child found in rural Lincoln County last month.
Oregon State Police say investigators found the remains of a girl in the H.B. Van Duzer Forest State Scenic Corridor on December 10th. They’ve released a sketch of what she may have looked like, which was provided by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office estimate the girl to be between six and a half to 10 years old. Her height would be between 3'-10" to four and a half feet tall. She had long dark brown or black hair.
It’s believed the girl had been dead for at least 30 days prior to discovery. A DNA analysis may determine her race or ethnicity.
There are no missing children reports currently matching the girl’s description.
