Oregon Moves to 4-0 After Win Over Arizona

@oregonfootball Twitter

A packed Autzen Stadium provided the scene for Oregon’s win over Arizona Saturday. The No. 3 Ducks didn’t disappoint the 50,024 fans in attendance, downing the Wildcats 41-19.

Oregon was led by quarterback Anthony Brown, who passed for 206 yards and scored three touchdowns.

The Ducks’ CJ Verdell, Jaylon Redd, Spencer Webb, and Terrance Ferguson each had 1 TD in the Ducks’ win. Noah Sewell had 14 tackles.

Oregon’s night was not without errors. The Ducks had nine penalties, something Coach Mario Cristobal called “out of character” for his team. After the game Cristobal talked about those penalties, saying “we know that’s not good enough. I think a couple of them were out of aggressive play but a couple of the other ones you’ve got to be able to avoid.”

Arizona’s Jordan McCloud threw five interceptions, with Oregon’s Bennett Williams coming up with two. Verone McKinley grabbed his fourth interception of the year.

The win moved the Ducks to 4-0 this season.
