Women's Marches Taking Place Across Oregon

Women’s Marches are happening Saturday, January 18th throughout the world, including several in Oregon.

In Eugene, an informally organized march begins at 10:00 this morning with speakers at the University of Oregon EMU Fishbowl, followed by an 11:00am planned march to the Federal Courthouse building.

In Corvallis a “Still We Rise” march is planned at 10:30 at Central Park.

Roseburg’s Women’s March is planned for noon, meeting in front of Fred Meyer at Garden Valley Blvd.

The Yachats march starts at noon at the Yachats Commons.

In Redmond, a “reclaiming power” march is set for 10:30 this morning at Centennial Park.

Coos Bay marchers will gather downtown at noon.

Love Cross joined KLCC in 2017. She began her public radio career as a graduate student, serving as Morning Edition Host for Boise State Public Radio in the late 1990s. She earned her undergraduate degree in Rhetoric and Communication from University of California at Davis, and her Master’s Degree from Boise State University. In addition to her work in public radio, Love teaches college-level courses in Communication and Public Speaking.
