John McGlinn: Recreating Musical History
Conductor, arranger and musical historian John McGlinn frequently stripped classic musicals to their roots by returning to original orchestrations and reinstating lost songs. McGlinn died on Feb. 14; Fresh Air remembers him with interviews from 1989 and 1992.

Carol Burnett Returns to the 'Mattress'
Sunday night, Carol Burnett returns to the national television in a version of Once Upon a Mattress. She plays Queen Aggravian. The role comes some 40 years after Burnett launched her career with her Tony-winning portrayal of Princess in the Broadway version of Mattress.

Bruce Springsteen: 30 Years of 'Born to Run'
In November, Columbia Records released the Born to Run 30th Anniversary Edition boxed set. The three-CD set includes a remastering of Springsteen's Born to Run album, released in 1975. The box set also includes a concert DVD of a never-before seen 1975 concert from London and a documentary about the making of Born to Run. This interview originally aired on Nov. 15, 2005.

Fresh Air rock critic Ken Tucker reviews Sixes & Sevens, the new album from singer-songwriter Adam Green. He co-wrote the song "Anyone Else But You" for the film Juno and co-founded the New York folk group The Moldy Peaches. Sixes & Sevens is his fifth solo album.
