He started with a shift as an All Things Considered board operator and then paid his dues with 10 years of fill in hosting for a variety of music programs. It was on The Back Porch, with mentoring from Pete LaVelle, that Dan developed his music programming chops. It was also there that the first concepts for what would become a new program took shape. The Front Porch debuted on KLCC in 2001.

  • Jeff Cohen started in newspapers in 2001 and joined Connecticut Public in 2010, where he worked as a reporter and fill-in host. In 2017, he was named news director.
  • Armando Morales is one of the founding fathers of Ahora Si!. He started working with the show in 1983 after Ray Davis left the program and has worked with his wife and two children on air over the years. Armando has brought renown artists such as Los Folkloristas, the conductor of the National Choir of Cuba, Inti-Illimani, Peru Negro, and more. He shares hosting duties with Jill Torres, Herman Hope, and Carolina Arrendondo Sanchez Lira.
