The best season in the history of Oregon women’s basketball has ended. The No. 2 Ducks lost 84-74 last night to No. 1 Notre Dame in Spokane.
The Ducks won their first regular season conference crown in 18 years; its first ever PAC-12 tournament title; and its second consecutive Elite Eight appearance. Despite all this, they won’t be moving onto the Final Four of the NCAA tournament.
That honor goes to UConn, Louisville, Mississippi State and Notre Dame.
