Ducks Lose Hard Fought Game Against No. 1 Virginia

No.1 seed Virginia proved too much for the No. 12 Oregon Men’s Basketball team in the Sweet Sixteen match in the NCAA Tournament Thursday night.

The Ducks fell 53 to 49 to the Cavaliers in Kentucky, ending their 2019 season.

In the Women’s NCAA Tournament, both Oregon and Oregon State’s Women’s teams are hoping to advance to the Elite Eight with wins Friday. The No. 4 Beavers play No. 1 Louisville at 6:30pm, while the No. 2 Ducks play No. 6 South Dakota Friday at 8:00pm.
