The University of Oregon Women’s Basketball team moved from the Sweet Sixteen to the Elite Eight with their Friday night win over South Dakota State.
The No. 2 Ducks were dominant in the 63-53 victory over the No.6 Jackrabbits at the regional in Portland, sending them to their third straight Elite Eight appearance.
Ruthie Hebard had 24 points, while Junior Forward Sabrina Ionescu had 17 points and 10 assists. Satou Sabally added 14 points in the win.
Next up for the Ducks, No. 1 Mississippi State on Sunday. The Ducks topped the Bulldogs back in December with a score of 82-74.
