Ionescu Returning To Oregon For Senior Year: "We Have Unfinished Business"

GODUCKS.com

University of Oregon Women’s Basketball’s standout guard Sabrina Ionescu is returning for her senior season.

The Ducks star wrote ‘A Letter to Ducks Nation’ for The Players Tribune on Saturday night, minutes after the deadline for her to declare for the WNBA draft expired. After Oregon’s loss to Baylor in the national semifinal game Friday night, she had 24 hours to declare for the WNBA draft.

Ionescu, who already holds the NCAA career record for triple-doubles with 18, reflected on her first three years at Oregon, touting the program's progress writing “I won't predict exactly how far we're going to go... but I'll just say this. We have unfinished business."

Most of this year’s PAC-12 championship team will be returning as the Ducks lost only two seniors after this year’s most successful season in Oregon Women’s Basketball history.
